Notice from Waverley Council Regarding New Parking Conditions to be Imposed from 1st March 2007, reproduced below:
Bondi Beach Concessional Parking for Surf Life Saving Club Members
The following parking arrangements are provided for members of Bondi Surf Bathers Life Saving Club and North Bondi Surf Club who are engaged in surf life saving activities at Bondi Beach and are not residents of Waverley. The arrangements are for a trial period commencing 1 March 2007.

· Members of the above Clubs who are residents of Waverley may access the beach car park for free as usual on presentation of a Beach Parking Permit available from Council.
· Members are to prove eligibility at the exit gate by showing driver's licence and by being on the relevant list held at the exit booth. (A Club badge will not prove eligibility.)
· When 4 hours' free parking is applicable and an eligible member stays for longer than
4 hours, the member will incur fees for however long they have stayed after the first
4 hours. (eg., for all or part of the 5th hour the fee will be the 1st hour rate for the day).
· When 4 hour limits apply, a total of 4 hours is the maximum allowable, regardless of
the number of visits to the car park.
· A free drop off zone for Nippers will be available on Campbell Parade on Sunday
